Founder, Ethan Lewis was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 12. Like all people with diabetes, Ethan has always struggled to manage his blood sugars and is always on the look out for new solutions. With a lack of nutritional products that were convenient, worked well for his blood sugars and tasted great, Ethan decided to develop a new approach to managing diabetes through nutrition his products. Ethan's first product was inspired by his frequent low blood sugars events that were driven by the diabetes medications he took. Convinced that there was a better option for treating low blood sugars, Ethan spent more than a year developing and testing an innovative fast-acting glucose gel. Eager to prove that his glucose gel was the best solution, he sought out relationships with local ambulance services to test his glucose gel.
